Cancellation Expenses

This compulsory section covers your expenses and irrecoverable costs, up to a standard limit of £2,500, (with option to increase sums insured up to £25,000) incurred due to your inability to proceed with, or the postponement or curtailment of, the whole event due to circumstances beyond the control of you, event organisers or supporters, e.g. the event venue suffers a fire. It also covers the additional costs you incur in avoiding event cancellation or diminishing a loss of cancellation expenses, up to the selected sum insured.

Adverse Weather

Cover automatically includes cancellation expenses incurred as a result of adverse weather conditions that make starting or completing the event dangerous or irresponsible.
