Taylor McGill partnership was formed by Gerry McGill and Simon Taylor in 1996 and became a Limited company in 1998.

During the late 90’s and the early years of the new millennium, Taylor McGill acquired a number of other insurance brokers, which generated much needed growth. This included the brokerage of Denison and Parters Insurance Consultants, who had for a number of years administered the highly successful Insurance Scheme for Model Railway Clubs & Societies.

In January 2005, with the insurance industry being regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) Taylor McGill Limited became Taylor McGill Group Limited with the subsidiaries for the Financial Services division and General Insurance division being created, Taylor McGill Financial Consultants Ltd and Taylor McGill Insurance Consultants Ltd respectively.

Taylor McGill Insurance Consultants Ltd have been meeting the insurance needs of the Model Railway Community for many years, after acquiring the Insurance Scheme from John Denison & Partners Insurance Consultants in 2002.

Over these years Taylor McGill have developed a deep understanding and expertise of your insurance requirements and have been able to secure competitive terms and comprehensive cover from our current Scheme Insurer Norwich Union. In fact our rates have remained unchanged for over 2 years.
